License Agreement

End-User License Agreement (EULA) — Last updated: February 2026

1. Definitions

  • "Plugin" refers to the Bricks AI Studio WordPress plugin, including all files, code, prompts, and documentation.
  • "License Key" refers to the unique activation code (format: BAIS-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) provided upon purchase.
  • "Licensee" (or "you") refers to the individual or entity that purchased the license.
  • "Licensor" (or "we") refers to Bricks AI Studio.
  • "Production Site" refers to a publicly accessible WordPress installation.
  • "Non-Production Site" refers to staging, development, or localhost environments.

2. License Tiers

Non-production sites (identified by common staging subdomains like staging.*, dev.*, *.local, and localhost) are unlimited and do not count against your activation limit.

3. License Grant

Subject to valid purchase and compliance with this Agreement, the Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Plugin on the number of production WordPress installations specified by the purchased tier.

4. License Activation

The Plugin requires activation via your License Key. Upon activation:

  • Your domain is registered with our license server
  • An activation token is generated for your domain
  • License validity is checked every 12 hours (with a 3-day grace period for server outages)
  • System prompts are delivered from the license server (not stored locally)

5. Permitted Use

You MAY:

  • Install and use the Plugin on sites within your license limit
  • Create websites for clients using the Plugin (the license covers your installations, not client ownership)
  • Deactivate a license from one domain and reactivate on another
  • Use the Plugin on unlimited non-production environments
  • Keep and use the Plugin after your update period expires (no new versions)

6. Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

  • Share, redistribute, or sublicense the Plugin or your License Key
  • Publish the Plugin on any repository, marketplace, or download site
  • Remove, disable, or circumvent the licensing system or integrity checks
  • Reverse engineer the prompt delivery system or cache prompts for offline redistribution
  • Use the Plugin for any illegal purpose or to generate harmful content
  • Claim ownership of the Plugin's source code or system prompts

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Plugin remain with the Licensor. This includes:

  • Source code and compiled assets
  • AI system prompts and prompt engineering techniques
  • Algorithms for code-to-Bricks conversion
  • CSS property mapping logic
  • Documentation and branding

Content generated using the Plugin (Bricks elements, page layouts) belongs to you, subject to your AI provider's terms of service.

8. AI Provider Responsibility

The Plugin interfaces with third-party AI services using your API keys. You acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for all AI API costs
  • AI output quality depends on the AI provider and your prompts
  • We make no guarantees about AI-generated output accuracy
  • You must comply with each AI provider's acceptable use policies

9. Updates and Maintenance

During your active update period, you receive:

  • All new plugin versions and bug fixes
  • Updated and improved AI system prompts
  • New feature additions
  • Compatibility updates for new WordPress and Bricks Builder versions

10. Support

Support is provided via email for the duration of your license. Support covers:

  • Installation and activation issues
  • Bug reports and troubleshooting
  • General usage questions

Support does NOT cover customization, third-party conflicts, or AI prompt engineering beyond the built-in templates.

11. Termination

This license may be terminated:

  • By you: At any time by deactivating and uninstalling the Plugin
  • By us: If you breach any term of this Agreement

Upon termination, you must uninstall the Plugin from all sites and destroy all copies. No refund is provided for termination due to breach.

12. Limitation of Liability

The Plugin is provided "as is." In no event shall the Licensor be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Plugin, including but not limited to data loss, revenue loss, or business interruption. Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the license.
